About this course

Identify and use woodworking hand tools safely and successfully to make a small stool. Gain experience using these tools and the knowledge of some basic joinery as well as build personal confidence through learning a new set of skills.

Learning objectives include:

  • Measure and mark out using measuring tools and to check accuracy
  • Make all the edges of timber square by using a block plane
  • Practice using and identify all tools needed to make the stool
  • Use a chisel safely

 

This course is open to Adults aged 19 years plus with few or no formal qualifications

This course will run Tuesdays from 15th of November – 13th of December
