Stress & Anxiety Management [Online]
This FREE online course will equip you with a number of useful and easy techniques to stay calm during periods of stress and difficulty – these include proven psychological techniques, breathing, mindfulness amongst other things, this should help during this lock down period.
The course will be delivered flexibly via a mix of live video chat and online resources which you will be able to access at anytime and will be updated weekly.
Learning outcomes include:
- you will learn mindfulness techniques
- you will explore breathing techniques to aid in relaxation and stress management
- you will look into gratitude practice to be able to frame things positively
- you will look into CBT methods for tackling negative thinking
To be eligible for the course you need to be aged 19+ with few or no qualifications or experiencing barriers to learning.
The course will run weekly – every Thursday – from 30th April to 4th June 2020
