Accredited course to help you take first steps in working as an independent advocate in a range of settings

Learning Objectives Include:

  • Identify principles and models of Independent Advocacy
  • Describe the circumstances and people who may access Independent Advocacy
  • Explain the role and activities of the Independent Advocacy
  • Describe the skills and attributes required for Independent Advocacy
  • Define the terms equality and diversity, and describe different types of discrimination

This course is open to Adults aged 19 years plus with few or no formal qualifications

This course will run on Monday from 23rd May – 18th July 2022
