Level 2 Award in Independent Advocacy

Accredited course to help you take your first steps in working as an independent advocate in a range of settings

The learning objectives include:

• Identify principles and models of Independent Advocacy (IA)
• Describe the circumstances and people who may access Independent Advocacy
• Explain the role and activities of Independent Advocates
• Define the terms equality and diversity, and describe different types of discrimination

This course is open to Adults aged 19 years plus with few or no formal qualifications

This course will run on Monday from 31st October – 20th February
