Introduction to Working with Children

An overview of the services and job opportunities within the childcare sector in preparation for moving onto the Level 1 Award in Working with Children.

Learning Objectives Include:

• Describe what is involved in caring for children
• Introduction to welfare and safety when dealing with children 0-5 years old
• Learn about how organisations can support children and their rights
• Introduction to verbal and non-verbal communication methods

This course is open to Adults aged 19 years plus with few or no formal qualifications

This course will run weekly every Wednesday from 20th September till 18th October
