A general introduction to the health and social care sector in preparation for moving onto the level 1 qualification.

Learning objectives include:

• Participate in a Zoom session using video and sound.
• Participate in Google Classroom by completing daily tasks.
• Describe five services provided across the health and social care sector.
• Explain what health, social and developmental needs are.
• Research a job of interest on the National Careers Service website.
• Identify three benefits of play in children’s development.
• Describe ways to remain safe online.
• Describe how to minimise the risks of bugs and infections.

This course is open to all learners aged 19+

The course will run weekly – every Wednesday – from 24th February to 17th March 2021
