A 2 day course to provide up to date training and information regarding working on construction sites to enable learners to pass the CSCS online tests.

Learning objectives include:

  • Develop knowledge of Health & Safety regulations in construction industry
  • Demonstrate awareness how to minimize risk of pollution from site waste
  • Awareness of how to prevent injury when working on construction sites
  • Demonstrate awareness of common hazardous chemicals found on building sites
  • Identify risks involved in working at height, excavations and confined spaces
  • Identify common safety signs
  • Summarise own responsibilities for own safety and the safety of others
  • Develop knowledge of essential rules for electrical safety, tools and equipment
  • Give examples of how to minimise the impact of noise and dust
  • Recall the essentials of fire safety and fire prevention
  • Develop knowledge of correct manual handling techniques

This course is aimed at learners (aged 19+) who need to gain a CSCS card to work on construction sites

The course will run for two days – Thursday 28th October and Friday 29th October 2021.
