Introduction to Caring for Children Level 1

An introduction course to give an overview of the services and job roles within a childcare sector in preparation for progression onto Level1 Award caring for Children.

learning Objectives Include:

• Identify 4 different types of childcare services for children 0-5 years
• List the range of jobs and roles in the childcare sector
• give 4 examples of ways to support children’s learning and development
• Explain the benefits of play for children 0-5 years

 

This course is open to Adults aged 19 years plus with few or no formal qualifications
