Introduction to Care

Join our highly recommended course! Our three-week course offers you everything you need to know about working as a carer in the community.

Learning objectives include:

• Find out what it’s like to work in the care sector including different options (domiciliary, care home and hospital settings)
• Explore what it means to be a great carer.
• Meet employers and learn about being an employee or self-employed in the sector.
• Develop a plan with your tutor to achieve your next steps.

The course will run weekly – every Wednesday – from 1st March to 15th March 2023

This course is open to Adults aged 19 years plus looking to develop their understanding of working in the care sector and the various settings either as an employee or self-employed.
