This Functional Skills Maths course will support Learners to work towards a nationally recognised qualification and is ideal for anyone working at Entry Level 3 and above. The course will also help Learners develop the confidence and practical maths skills needed for life, learning, and work.

Learning outcomes include:

• Develop confidence in using maths to solve everyday problems and complete practical tasks.
• Use number skills accurately, including whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• Apply measurement and data skills in real-life situations such as budgeting, shopping, and interpreting information.
• Improve problem-solving techniques by selecting and using appropriate mathematical methods.
• Work towards achieving a Functional Skills Maths qualification to support further learning, employment, and personal development.

This course will take place on Wednesdays – 16th September 2026 – 21st July 2027

This course is open to learners with few or no qualifications aged 19 years plus (in August ’26) working at Entry 3 Level and above
