This course is for anyone who feels overwhelmed, stressed or lacking motivation or direction. It will provide you with proven tools and techniques to feel empowered and confident to make positive change or improvements towards your wellbeing or employability goals.

Learning objectives include:

  • Understand how physical, emotional and social spheres impact on personal wellbeing.
  • Explore how stress and anxiety impact wellbeing.
  • Learn how to use the Worry Tree Tool.
  • Learn how to use the Problem Solving Steps
  • Learn how practising gratitude and positive thinking can influence mood and thoughts.
  • Learn assertiveness techniques.
  • Understand how to become more motivated through proven techniques.
  • Learn to use the pros and cons tool.

To be eligible for the course you need to be aged 19+ with few or no qualifications

The course will run weekly – every Wednesday from 3rd February to 10th March 2021.
