This course is for adults aged 19+ who  are feeling overwhelmed, stressed or lacking motivation or direction. It will provide you with proven tools and techniques to feel more in control and less anxious.

The course will provide you with a set of building blocks to improve confidence, motivation and resilience in order to empower you to achieve your goals and manage stress.

Learning objectives include:

  • Understand how physical, emotional and social spheres impact on personal wellbeing.
  • Explore how stress and anxiety impact wellbeing.
  • Learn how to use the Worry Tree Tool.
  • Learn how to use the Problem Solving Steps
  • Learn how practising gratitude and positive thinking can influence mood and thoughts.
  • Learn assertiveness techniques.
  • Understand how to become more motivated through proven techniques.
  • Learn to use the pros and cons tool.

To be eligible for the course you need to be aged 19+ with few or no qualifications.

The course will run weekly – every Wednesday from 5th May to 16th June 2021.

This course will take place online using Zoom and Google classroom. Support can be given to access Zoom and get started. It may be possible to loan IT equipment.
