About this course
A practical course where each week you will do something active outside, discuss a the benefits of being outside and learn more about healthy life choices with your child. Arts and crafts and a picnic too.
Learning objectives include:
- Follow recipe sheets accurately and safely whilst cooking.
- Describe the effect walking and/or exercise has on your senses, health and wellbeing.
- Research and discuss the benefits of being healthy and having a more active lifestyle.
- Follow instructions to a produce something that will benefit your health and wellbeing.
- Find out about walking apps and demonstrate how to download these.
- Describe three ways you can meet your personal goals.
This course is open to all learners aged 19+ with young children.
The course will run two sessions a week – Friday & Saturday – from 13th to 21st August 2021
