This course is for learners who need to improve their English in order to find work or to function within a work context.

Learning objectives include:

  • Describe daily routines within a work context.
  • Identify healthy and unhealthy lifestyles using the present simple.
  • Name different roles found in common jobs.
  • Use formal and informal language to ask questions.
  • Name personal skills.
  • Identify characteristics of certain jobs e.g. location, pay, hours, etc.
  • Read a short job advertisement and fill in a simple form.

This course is open to all learners aged 19+ that speak English as a second language.

The course will run twice weekly – Tuesday & Thursday – from 15th June to 8th July 2021
