ESOL Conversation Class

The course is a conversational class aimed at learners who have English as their second language and will increase learner’s confidence in their use of the English language. The course will promote and support integration into the community and provide more opportunities to progress into employment, self-employment and further training.

Learning outcomes include:

• Say what I need to learn
• Practise speaking and listening to make friends
• Get confident using English in real life
• Practise speaking and listening for work
• Practise agreeing and disagreeing
• Plan for next steps

The course will run weekly – every Monday and Friday – from 13th March to 5 May 2023

To be eligible for this course, you must be an adult 19+ with English as a second language. The course is aimed at learners who are unemployed or on a low income, and those new to the area who need language support to help integrate.
