This course helps learners strengthen essential English skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening for everyday life, work, and further education. With enhanced support and practical activities, it builds confidence and prepares learners for real-world communication and progression to higher study or employment.

Learning outcomes include:

• Read and understand different types of texts, identifying key information and purpose.
• Write clearly and accurately for various audiences, using correct grammar, punctuation, and structure.
• Apply English skills confidently in practical tasks such as emails, forms, and presentations.

This course will take place on Tuesdays – 15th September 2026 – 13th July 2027

This course is open to learners with few or no qualifications aged 19 years plus (in August ’26)
