About this course
This course is a general introduction to Health and Social Care in preparation for the Level 1 Health & Social Care course. The course will support you to achieve course and personal learning outcomes as well as support you to explore “next steps” and prepare for progression onto further training courses and employment. IAG National Careers service opportunities will also be provided.
Learning outcomes include:
- Research a chosen vocational area for own personal development
- Explore possible progression routes into further training/employment
- Prepare for an interview
- Complete an employability skills audit
- Create a personal action plan with SMART goals/targets
The course will run for 3 days – Wednesday 30th November, Thursday 1st December and Friday 2nd December 2022.
This course is open to Adults aged 19 years plus (in August ’22) with few or no formal qualifications with an interest in working in Health and social care within either Adults or Children and young people’s settings
