This 3 day course will give learners the skills and confidence to effectively search for employment .
Learning outcomes include:
- Identify different ways and sources to search for work
- Produce CV and covering letter
- Recognise how to present themselves positively to employers, in person, via telephone and in writing
- Recognise how to prepare for an interview
- Identify own skills and attributes and how these can be used when searching and applying for jobs
- Identify work sector and job role to look for work
- Identify skills required for chosen job role, what skills need to be gained and where to gain these skills
This course is aimed at learners (aged 19+) who are unemployed and actively seeking work.
The course will run for three days – Wednesday 25th May, Thursday 26th May and Friday 27th May 2022
