A theory-based course to help you gain the recognised qualification in food safety that will last you 3 years and can be used in work or volunteering settings

Learning objectives include:

  • List and describe 3 terms used in food safety
  • Identify 3 different types of food hazard
  • describe cross contamination and list 3 ways to prevent it
  • list 4 key temperatures used to keep food safe
  • sate the ideal conditions for the multiplication of bacteria
  • Assess ways to use the qualification in an employment or volunteering setting

This course is open to Adults aged 19 years plus with few or no formal qualifications

This course will run weekly every Friday from 26th November – 10th December
