Who are we?
The Community Learning Team is part of the Bristol City Council’s Employment, Skills and Learning team. We set up courses for people with few or no qualifications, and for adults who are unemployed and experience multiple barriers to learning and work. We run a wide range of courses in a large number of venues across Bristol.
How it works
We are part of Bristol City Council’s Employment Skills and Learning Team and learners who are returning to work benefit from the support the team provides.
We are lucky to have a fantastic team of tutors who deliver a wide range of courses from first aid to community arts, family learning to employability courses, and English, maths and IT. Many of our tutors work for us as they want to give something back to the community
Courses and costs
We receive Skills Funding Agency Funding and courses are generally free to targeted learners. Courses cost between £1,000 and £5,000 to deliver, depending on length and costs. We are looking to partners to support us through free or cheap venues, and financial or kind contributions to support and childcare costs.

Work with us
In addition to our online classroom, we also offer an option to take part in a live classroom. It takes place in our vast campus located in Westfield, London. Here you’ll be able to use the most up-to-date facilities and computer equipment.
