For this year’s World Book Night, we will be reading “Those People Next Door” by Kia Abdullah. This is a story of a family moving to a new street only to receive harassment from the nightmare neighbours next door.
For those classes taking part we are running a small competition:
Writing Competition:
We are offering 3 prizes, £25 First prize and £10 vouchers for 2nd and 3rd place. You will also receive a certificate.
The task: Read all of the book and write an article, book report or review.
Closing date: To enter the competition, give your review by 30th May 2024.
Please speak to your tutor on ideas on how to structure a review and the kind of sub-headings you might wish to use.
