#We are Bristol Kids

28th May 2020

Last week the council launched the new #WeAreBristol Kids online hub. The hub is an online resource to better connect children with the city during the coronavirus pandemic and beyond.
The hub has a strong focus on Bristol and aims to bring the children of the city together in an entertaining and informative way at a time when many families are struggling with continued school closures and isolation from usual activities.

The hub is fully interactive and gives children and families the chance to contribute their own content, as well as offer suggestions for what they would like in the future.
Take a look at #WeAreBristol Kids today and feel free to share it with friends and families.

Help us slow down drivers to win prizes

If you are aged between six and 16, check out our competition to design an eye-catching poster that will remind drivers to stop speeding and slow down. Prizes include a Fitbit and passes to the Bristol Family Cycling Centre.

You may have noticed that some drivers in Bristol are taking advantage of quieter roads to break the speed limit. So we are asking young people to design a bright and colourful poster that reminds drivers to #slowdown.

To find out how to enter the competition and read our terms and conditions, visit the new #WeAreBristol Kids online hub.

The deadline for entries is 5pm on 11 June 2020.
