Volunteers needed for a University of Bristol research project

19th September 2016

The University of Bristol, in partnership with Bristol Learning City, is launching a brand new research project to find out what it is really like to live and learn in the city. The new project will help us discover more about people’s learning experiences in Bristol and find out how they would like to progress and develop.

To support the project we are asking for Learning City partners and their staff/students or specific individuals, who you feel may benefit from the opportunity, to volunteer their time and become ‘Learning Researchers’.

Once a week, between October and December 2016, volunteers will be asked to undertake some research activities, which could involve field research such as interviewing and photography or analysis of data.

The project is being led by Dr Magda Buchczyk who is a Senior Research Associate at the University of Bristol. All ‘Learning Researchers’ will receive training at the University of Bristol, which will teach volunteers everything they need to know. The deadline for applications is Sunday 25th September, with a programme start date of early-October.

If you or any of your staff/students are interested in volunteering, please email or refer to the linked document below for further information.

Please feel free to share this information throughout your organisation, through your networks or with specific individuals you feel may benefit from the opportunity
