Tai Chi for Beginners
Enjoyed by the Chinese for over 700 years, these Tai Chi movements exercise the mind, body and spirit, bringing relaxation, balance and a sense of wellbeing, helping us to overcome the stresses of everyday life.
All levels of fitness welcome.
These courses are part of a national research project looking at the impact of community learning courses on how we feel. The project asks if learning regularly helps us better cope with stress, problems sleeping, finding it hard to go out, worrying, feeling anxious, sad or low. Because of this learners will be asked to complete three mood and wellbeing questionnaires during their course.
Courses are eligible to those with mild to moderate mental health issues and those without.
