Work towards developing new transferable, problem-solving life skills. Learners will be able to use more effective ‘tools’ and techniques to respond to adversity with a higher level of resilience. Learners increase their confidence to explore wider options regarding employment, dealing with challenging situations more effectively. Learning outcomes include:
- Assessing where you are now (your starting point)
- Identify realistic, achievable medium and long term-goals.
- Adopt a series of practical steps and techniques which will improve problem-solving.
- Monitor your own progress and adapt to change effectively.
This course is aimed at learners aged 19+ – unemployed, people with mild to moderate mental health issues, refugees, asylum seekers, teenage parents, local residents, BAME and women.
The course will every Tuesday, starting 10th April 2018 and ending 5th June 2018.
