Parenting a Child with ADHD

This course is suitable for parents who have a child with ADHD and will help you understand the condition and techniques to manage behaviour. The aim is to increase understanding of ADHD. Learning objectives include:

  • Define ADHD
  • Name three characteristics of ADHD
  • Describe how the ADHD brain works
  • Name at least three executive functions that may be affected by ADHD behaviour

This course is aimed at parents who have a child with ADHD (diagnosed or not diagnosed).

It will run on a weekly basis – every Thursday – from 8th November to 13th December 2018
