
Introduction to Youth Work
This course provides an introduction to good practice, relevant legislation, what makes a good youth worker, planning activities, career opportunities and the key stages of adolescence. To provide an introduction to youth work in the community. Learning objectives include:
- Define, discuss and write about the main purposes of youth work.
- Identify key relationship building skills.
- List and explain the key roles within groups.
This course is open to all learners (aged 19+)
The course will run weekly – every Friday – from 5th October to 30th November 2018
