Introduction to Pottery

A friendly, practical course with suggested projects for making or the freedom to choose your own. A range of clays and glazes to try. Plenty of tutor support and advice.

The aim of the course is to learn about and make your own pottery and is for anyone who would like to have a go and develop their creativity and skills with clay.

These courses are part of a national research project looking at the impact of community learning courses on how we feel. The project asks if learning regularly helps us better cope with stress, problems sleeping, finding it hard to go out, worrying, feeling anxious, sad or low. Because of this learners will be asked to complete three mood and wellbeing questionnaires during their course.
Courses are eligible to those with mild to moderate mental health issues and those without.

To book an initial assessment to see if you meet the criteria to be part of this research call: 0117 9039750 or e-mail: learningbristol@bristol.gov.uk
