Customer Service Level 1

A practical course that will help you grow your skills and confidence in developing excellent customer service and gain a recognised qualification. Develop a fuller understanding of what makes good customer service and use this to gain a qualification. Learning outcomes include:

  • Give examples of different customers and list the needs/expectations they may have.
  • Explain the various ways of communicating effectively and how these may affect the customer.
  • Describe how to work in line with an organisation’s procedure including client confidentiality.
  • List common complaints a customer may have and describe how these should be handled showing good customer service.

This course is aimed at anyone wanting to gain a recognised qualification to help get into employment or volunteering where they are dealing with the public.

This course is free if you are on means-tested benefits and can show evidence of this. Otherwise, the fee is £36.00.

The course will run for five weeks – every Monday – from 17th September to 22nd October 2018
